Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-01

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Comic Workspace pre-launch website and, where you are invited, the Comic Workspace closed beta studio. By using the site or the beta, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Acceptance of terms

Using the site means you accept these Terms. If you access the closed beta on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation, and “you” in these Terms refers to both you and that organisation.

2. The service

Comic Workspace is a manga and webtoon localization workspace currently in closed beta. The product is pre-launch: features, pricing, storage limits, AI credits, and these Terms may change before general availability. We will give reasonable notice of material changes.

3. User obligations

You agree to:

  • Use the service only for its intended purpose — localizing manga and webtoons you have the right to localize.
  • Not upload content that infringes third-party rights, is illegal, or violates the rights of others.
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the service or its AI providers.
  • Keep your access credentials confidential.
  • Comply with applicable laws including Thai law, GDPR (if in the EU), and your local export and IP regulations.

4. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of all content you upload, create, translate, typeset, or export through Comic Workspace. We do not claim ownership of your manga, your translations, your layers, or your exports. We do not train AI models on your content.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, transmit, render, and process your content solely as needed to operate the workspace for you and your team (for example: to display pages in the editor, route content to AI providers you opt into, and produce exports you request). This licence ends when you delete the content or close your workspace.

Comic Workspace, our logo, the editor UI, our source code, and our documentation remain our property and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” during closed beta. We make no warranties, express or implied, about uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI output, or non-infringement. AI output should be reviewed by a qualified human before use; we do not guarantee translation quality.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comic Workspace will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability for direct damages will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.

7. Beta-specific terms

The closed beta exists to validate the product. Features may break, change, or disappear without notice. Data export tools are provided so you can always retrieve your content. We may pause or end the beta at any time and will give you reasonable time to export your work.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Thailand, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
